Meet Dr. Tsung

Dr. Francis Tsung is a native of southern Illinois. He has practiced in southern Illinois since 1995.

A true “bread and butter” OBGYN, Dr. Tsung is experienced in all areas of Obstetric and Gynecological care. Dr. Tsung has helped women deliver thousands of children over his 20+ year career. He is one of the few providers within the region able to perform pelvic reconstructive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse.

Dr. Tsung serves as the lead for resident education at SIU Family Medicine as well as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical Director for the Federally Qualified Health Center, Shawnee Health.

Education

He completed his undergraduate degree at Yale University, medical school at the University of Illinois-Chicago and Ob-Gyn residency was at the University of Louisville. Dr. Tsung is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
