Meet Dr. Mukerji
Dr. Barenya Mukerji, MD, brings extensive experience and a diverse skill set to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has honed her expertise in all aspects of obstetrics and general gynecology, including office procedures, labor and delivery, and laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Her dedication to advancing the field extends to her involvement in basic research and clinical projects, reflecting her passion for innovation and improvement in women’s healthcare. With a rich background encompassing various healthcare settings from India to the United States, Dr. Mukerji brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to her practice, ensuring that her patients receive the highest quality of care.
Education
Dr. Mukerji completed medical school at the University of Calcutta, India, Ob-Gyn residency at Eden Hospital at the University of Calcutta, and at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey, affiliated with the Drexel University College of Medicine. She has practiced Ob-Gyn in southern Illinois since September, 2018. Dr. Mukerji is a board certified OB/GYN physician.
